Key Regulatory Updates on Food Traceability and Fiscal Stamps Application | Albania

We are pleased to share our latest Newsletter, highlighting two recently issued sublegal acts that introduce important regulatory developments in Albania:

• Instruction No. 15, dated 10.04.2025, on indications or marks identifying the lot to which a foodstuff belongs, aims to enhance food traceability through standardized lot labeling, specific exemptions, and alignment with EU Directive 2011/91/EU.
• Instruction No. 9, dated 27.03.2025, on the modalities of applying fiscal stamps to tobacco products, beer, and alcohol, repeals the 2011 framework and introduces improved measures for product tracking, tax collection, and consumer protection.
